가수 겸 배우 김현중이 일본에서 골든디스크를 품에 안았다.
일본 레코드협회 측은 작년 12월12일 현지 발매된 김현중의 새 앨범 '언리미티드'(Unlimited)가 '골드' 리스트에 올렸다고 최근 밝혔다.
골드는 음반 10만 장 이상 판매 시 수여되는 일종의 '훈장'. 앞서 김현중은 지난해 7월4일 발매한 새 싱글 '히트'에 이어 '골드'를 추가하게 됐다.

Singer cum actor Kim Hyun Joong has managed to clinch a golden disk under his belt.
Japan Records Association has revealed recently that the album 'UNLIMITED" which was released on December 12 last year, has attained a position on the 'Gold' list.
'Gold' is a kind of 'badge' that happens when a discography clinches a sell-out of more than 100K. This is an addition to the previous 'Gold' that he had clinched with his single 'HEAT' which was released July 4 last year.

A representative stated, “The preparations for the concert gathering Kim Hyun Joong, who thinks of his fans as first priority, and his fans together is unlike anything else.”
Kim Hyun Joong is set to perform his hit songs including tracks off his 2nd digital Japanese album, ‘HEAT‘, alongside a live band. The keywords for this tour will be “communication” and “consensus” in an effort to get closer to his Japanese fans.
Kim Hyun Joong will begin his tour at Kobe World Memorial Hall on the 6th and will tour various cities across Japan including Saitama, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.

Kim Hyung Joong’s first full-length Japanese album ‘Unlimited’ is enjoying a great start on the Oricon’s chart.
According to the latest Oricon’s rankings issued on December 13, Kim Hyun Joong’s ‘Unlimited’, which was released on December 12th in Japan, debuted at the top of Oricon’s Daily Album Chart after selling 56,473 units in its first day.
‘Unlimited’ contains a total of fourteen songs, including the lead track “Your Story,” “Save Today,” “I’m Yours,” and Kim Hyun Joong’s previous hit songs.
Kim Hyun Joong’s previous single, “Heat” also topped both the Oricon Daily Singles chart and the Weekly Singles chart, proving the Hallyu star’s great popularity in the country.

On December 11, with just one day left before he drops his first full-length Japanese album Unlimited, Kim Hyun Joong kicked off an event for his album’s release in Shibuya.
Crowds of fans were seen lining up for the event some 10 hours before its start with some fans flying in from as far away as Hokkaido.
In total, some 6,000 fans took part in his three-part event in which the singer also unveiled the full music videos for Your Story and Save Today.
The hallyu star then took to the stage to discuss the album in-depth and its creation process.
Specially invited for the event was the Japanese celebrity KABA.chan as well as Kurosawa Kazuko, of the famed female comedy trio Morisanchu, with Kurosawa Kazuko even doing a bit of the Break Down choreography on stage.
Kim Hyun Joong also took part in a press conference for the album which attracted all sorts of press outlets from Japan’s media including Fuji TV, Nihon TV and more.
Unlimited was released in Japan on December 12.
