On January 21st, singer/actor Kim Hyun Joong held his ’2012 KIMHYUNJOONG Fanmeeting in Seoul’ with 6,000 fans at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium.
The event kicked off with a spectacular laser show that was followed by Kim Hyun Joong’s performances of “Let Me Go” and “Breakdown”.
As he interacted with the MC for the event, Park Seul Gi, the idol discussed his current activities as well as his upcoming plans for 2012. He earned the crowd’s applause during a segment called “Kim Hyun Joong, The Problem Solver”, by offering solutions for fans’ varying problems in his peculiar, yet witty way. He even invited one fan up to the stage and sang for her while acting out the scenario described in the lyrics, causing everyone to laugh.
Fans were treated to a special show from Kim Hyun Joong’s dogs, as he brought up his two puppies onto the stage and had them showcase the numerous tricks they learned in their obedience classes.
Of course, the event wouldn’t have been complete without a performance of his latest hit, “Kiss Kiss”, as well as other hits like “Lucky Guy”, “One More Time”, and “I’m Your Man”.
As the fan meeting reached its end, Kim Hyun Joong didn’t forget to thank the fans who had given up their time off for the Lunar New Year holiday to come spend the day with him, and took a picture with all 6,000 fans in the background.
He concluded, “I’ll become a Kim Hyun Joong who will able to pay you back with more than what I’ve received from all of you… I’ll try my hardest to show you my best side on stage as well as various projects,” before performing the traditional bow in front of all the fans.
The singer will be leaving for Japan today (January 22nd) for the release of his Japanese debut album on January 25th.

Kim Hyun Joong made precious memories with his domestic and overseas fans.
On January 21, Kim met nearly 6,000 fans at “2012 Kim Hyun Joong Fan Meeting in Seoul,” which took place at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium.
The stadium was overcrowded with a large number of fans, who came to see Kim.
Started with a fancy laser show, the stadium was filled with a lot of excitement throughout the fan meeting.
Staring his fan meeting with “Let Me Go” and “Breakdown,” songs from his first mini album, Kim talked about his life and plans for 2012 with Park Seul Gi, a host of Kim’s fan meeting.
In the segment of “Kim Hyun Joong as a troubleshooter,” which Kim had to listen to his fans’ worries and offer solutions, Kim received applause by sincerely listening to three fans’ worries and offering witty and clear solutions. He also got a laugh from the audience by inviting one of the three fans up to the stage and singing a song while creating a scene that perfectly described the lyrics.
Kim also invited his two dogs to the stage. His dogs also received an enthusiastic response by showing all kinds of greeting that they learned at a pet school.
The fan meeting was followed by Kim’s hit songs, “Kiss Kiss,” “Lucky Guy,” “One More Time,” and “I’m Your Man.”
He also took a picture with the 6,000 fans on the auditorium for background to thank them for coming to his fan meeting despite the fact that it was the Lunar New Year’s holiday.
Kim said, “I’ll become a singer who can give you more than what you gave me. I’ll try my best to become a good singer and actor.”
Kim is flying to Japan on January 22 before releasing his Japanese debut single album on January 25.
