On January 4, Kim Hyun Joong held a special fan signing event in Beijing for the cosmetic brand, TheFaceShop. Photos of the event were posted on an online community board, showing thousands of fans in attendance to see the star singer/actor. In one photo, Kim Hyun Joong is even seen hugging and making a heart sign with a female fan, leaving many fans in envy.
The event garnered a lot of attention from major Chinese news outlets because of the massive fan turnout. It was even ranked as high as #2 on Singapore Yahoo’s daily most searched term list.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong is scheduled to appear in China’s Lunar New Year special program titled, “Spring Festival Evening Show,” on January 23. It’s Kim Hyun Joong’s first time spending the Lunar New Year’s in China and he’s planning to put on a spectacular show with more than 20 dance team members.
